Based on Bob Marsenich’s book, When Stress is Eating at You, Just Bite Back, this seminar takes a unique approach to managing stress—it outlines how to use humor, laughter, and a positive attitude to combat the negative impact of stress. It also teaches individuals to formulate their own stress-coping plans through self-awareness, educational information, and stress reduction techniques. Through didactic and experiential instruction, each participant gets an understanding of the relationship between stress, health, distress and job effectiveness. At completion of the seminar participants will be able to: detect the beginning stages of stress, use stress as a motivator, use techniques to relax and alleviate muscle tension, use humor to release stress in a positive healthy way, and more.
