For example, people can participate in a daylong training session and then follow-up coaching can be conducted in one on one, on-site sessions, and more follow-up can be provided through telephone and online calls. These sessions are designed to get participants to take responsibility for implementing their development plans. We work closely with participantís managers and these managers are integral to the process. They are taught to transfer the coaching process to performance discussions and documentation.
